I am currently dealing with this for the second time. this is what I am doing to engage the 4WD for snowy conditions driving this winter. 1. with the truck turned off. put switch in 4WD hi mode. 2. in the engin compartment remove the ABS 10 Apm fuse from IDPM. 3.Turn the VDC system back on if the Nissan's handling is poor by pressing the "VDC Off" button until the light goes out. 2. Adjust your driving if "SLIP" comes on. "SLIP" means the road conditions may be slippery.
