Yes, technically you can swap your uppers. 300bo is based off of the ar15 platform. Realistically the only difference is the barrel and buffer weight. Do note that is comical to run 556 in anything less than 10 inch barrel and illegal to put on a barrel less than 16 without your permission slip.
