The serial number is a couple thousand beyond the range suggested for this version but it does have the 3/4" barrel separation., In the ’60s and into the ’70s, the Charles Daly name was used on a series OU shotguns made by Miroku in Japan. These shotguns were model after Browning Citoris. Overall, they were reliable, well-made doubles. Miroku made two types of 28 gauge OUs: Some on 20-gauge frames, other on scaled down, 28-gauge frames.
