Locate the carpeted panel covering the spare tire or battery compartment. Using a flathead screwdriver or a trim panel removal tool, gently pry open the panel. Once the panel is removed, you will have clear access to the battery., TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) will warn the driver of a low tire pressure based on the vehicle recommended cold tire inflation placard pressure. The placard pressure is defined on the Tire and Loading Information label. The Tire and Loading Information label is located on the drivers side B-pillar., Toyota: Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (but don’t start the engine).
