When the Steam Deck released, it just all clicked. A new Nintendo Switch emulator called Suyu has launched with the goal to continue Yuzu in a non-profit and open-source way.

I've tried all sorts to get this working too including the same as you and no luck, I've tried installing Yuzu from the Discover store and that picks up all my roms but no matter where I point the filesystem to Nand folders it doesn't pick up the updates and DLC I installed to Nand in the other versions and also still doesn't boot New SMB U Deluxe properly either, I'm at a bit of a loss nowYuzu (Switch) Update 10/20/23 - Yuzu's progress report is now live. It worked for me without handheld companion when I did the gyro setup for the YUZU profile for the first time. I tested totk and worked well for aiming using the bow. (Right Trigger map in armory crate). However after playing again (a few days later) it was not working. I have no idea what happened. Btw, emudeck configures both emulation station and steam ROM manager by default, so you are technically enabling both when you use emudeck. You can pick and choose what you do/don't want to use.
