Flashing cruise light subaru forester

2006 XT - Trying to figure out the cause of this. Recently had my timing belt changed and the light has come back on (was on before the Timing Belt, stayed on after the service). What would be a way to fix this? No cruise control is a bummer!

Pressing the VDC off button will not cause the ABS light to illuminate. If the ABS light is on, there is something wrong with the ABS system, and if there is a problem with the ABS system, the VDC will not work either as it uses the ABS system.
