The first step is making the top frame of the bench then, building the legs, and finally fitting all the pieces together., I just finished shooting from my new bench from Custom Metal Products and love it! It's extremely well made compared to others I've used. It's a pretty big bench, but doesn't weigh a ton so it's still portable and it's not flimsy like so many others on the market. I'm a big guy at 6'2"" and 260 pounds and this bench accommodates me very well.
