Using a screwdriver or prybar You will want to pop this open. On the inside, You will find a bunch of fuses.The early TJ flasher units are not LED compatible. The taillights you removed must have had a diode in them. The easiest fix is to get an LED compatible flasher unit from an auto parts store. I have not done it yet, but they say a 4-pin unit will work in place of the OEM 5-pin unit. The flasher unit is located under the steering wheel. The problems arise when you put LEDs in the front turn signals, which then messes up the side markers. The wiring has to be done at the side markers to fix the overall issue.
