Sep 2, 2023 · B.J. Jones, Sr., born January 6, 1943, in Camilla, Georgia, was the eighth child of Deacon Buddie and Sister Leila Rhodes Jones. As the son of a farmer and teacher, B.J. learned at an early age to value God, family, education, work, and his community. As a child, B.J. gave his life to Christ and was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church.
