Published Mar 4, 2008. mzsmith12. 1 Post. omg my nclex exam stopped at 87. i was soo nervous the entire time i had the worst anxiety. i didnt even get any math questions. is that odd that it stopped at 87. i know i failed because i looked up the 87th question that i got before it …, BUT, the NCLEX does cut off at the minimum of 85 under two circumstances-either the test-taker has answered at least 95% of the questions correctly or 95% of the questions incorrectly... Hi everyone! I took my NCLEX today for the 5th time. I know it sounds crazy but yes, my fifth time. All the other times I got to the very end with 265 and of course, failed. Today it shut off at 110 and I felt more confident than ever.
