Onan engine for miller welder

Bobcat 225g plus Onan performer 16. Is there a difference between a Bobcat 225 and a Bobcat 225g plus with an onan engine. I am looking for a new engine do you guys think it is worth it to get a new engine or better to get it fixed. Onan parts can be expensive when and if you can find them.
