Park history Alfred L. Seaquest willed the property that became Seaquest State Park to the state upon his death. The property was the homestead of C. J. Seaquest, Alfred L. Seaquest’s father. Seaquest stipulated in his will that if liquor were ever sold on the property, the land would “revert to the ownership of Willamette University.”
