I'm looking for a solo 401 (k) plan. I have researched VanGuard and Fidelity and it seems like there are lot of restrictions. VanGuard -- You can only invest in their mutual funds (you can't buy stocks) and the fee is $20/per mutual fund per year. Fideltity -- You must phone in contributions. Yes, you must actually call to fund the plan.

From what I have read it seems the Vanguard HQ is a top secret installation and they discourage human visitors. I have accounts with Fidelity and Vanguard. I have had my Vanguard since 1983 and Fidelity since 1992.
